It was rehabilitated and converted into a multi-tenanted office complex in 1997, primarily serving non-profit organizations. It serves as a living model of the Presidio's original vision: a global center dedicated to addressing the world's environmental, cultural, and social challenges. The Center facilitates educational, artist and community building events for and with this community of tenants.
